In summer 2025, TRS were appointed as main contractor to strip and replace the aged cladding at Hangar 16.

The project was delivered on time and to the complete satisfaction of the museum, who can now proudly use the refurbished hangar to exhibit their original engines to the public.

The new olive-green sinusoidal cladding was carefully selected to complement the surroundings and preserve the building’s original aesthetic.
