In summer 2025, TRS successfully delivered a full roof refurbishment to the main hall at Perdiswell Leisure Centre.

The works were completed to the Garland StressPly Flex high-performance roofing specification, incorporating a new vapour control layer, upgraded insulation to meet current Building Regulations, and a robust two-layer torch-applied felt system.

Despite the scale of the project, the leisure centre remained fully operational throughout. TRS ensured complete segregation of the working area and prevented unauthorised access through the installation of secure site hoarding and controlled scaffold access.

Upon completion, a 25-year single-point guarantee was issued by Garland, covering the design, materials, and workmanship.

As part of the client’s sustainability roadmap, the refurbished roof has also been future-proofed to accommodate solar PV installation, helping reduce the centre’s long-term energy costs.
