Carbon Reduction Plan
1. Introduction
This Carbon Reduction Plan outlines the steps that Total Roofing Solutions & Building Services Ltd (TRS Roofing) will take to reduce its carbon emissions in alignment with the UK’s net-zero emissions target for 2050. Our plan focuses on practical and achievable steps to lower our carbon footprint across all operations, including supply chain, energy use, and waste management. In order to effectively reduce carbon emissions, we have measured our total carbon footprint for the 2023 baseline year.

3. Carbon Reduction Objectives and Targets
To demonstrate our commitment to carbon reduction, we have set the following targets:

Reduction Target: Achieve a 25% reduction in total carbon emissions by 2026.

Net-Zero Target: Achieve net-zero emissions across all operations by 2050.

Carbon Intensity Reduction: Reduce carbon emissions per unit of output (per roofing project) by 15% by 2026.

4. Carbon Reduction Actions
Our strategy focuses on key areas where we can achieve significant reductions:
a. Energy Efficiency

Upgrade to energy-efficient equipment, including LED lighting and high-efficiency HVAC systems at office and operational sites.
