Commercial roof coating is a refurbishment strategy, not a paint job. A correctly specified coating system re-waterproofs corroded metal cladding, failed gutters, tired flat roofs and deteriorating fixings, extending the roof's serviceable life at a lower capital cost than replacement.
TRS installs established commercial roof coating systems selected to suit the substrate, roof condition and required guarantee. Every project starts with a condition survey, including adhesion testing, corrosion grading and fixing pull-tests, before we specify. The right coating on the wrong substrate fails; the wrong prep on the right coating fails faster.
Coatings suit occupied buildings. There is no strip-out, no roof opening, and no exposure of the operation below. TRS delivers coatings as Principal Contractor under CDM 2015, with dedicated access, containment and out-of-hours working where required.

Every coating is a system, primer, filler, base and topcoat matched to the substrate, its corrosion grade, and the guarantee required. TRS specifies with the manufacturer, never off-catalogue.
Metal Roof Coatings
Coating systems applied to profiled steel and aluminium roofs to manufacturer specification. Restores waterproofing and seals fixings, with the guarantee period confirmed at specification stage.
Cut-Edge Corrosion Treatment
Targeted encapsulation of corroded sheet-edge and lap-joint corrosion using suitable cut-edge treatments. Recovers laps before water reaches the fixings.
Capping & Flashing Refurbishment
Liquid-applied refurbishment of failed ridge cappings, apron flashings and abutment details, often the leak path on ageing metal roofs.
Gutter Lining Systems
Cold-applied liquid gutter linings that re-waterproof corroded valley and eaves gutters without lifting the sheet, using the system best suited to the substrate.
Flat Roof Coatings
Liquid-applied PMMA and polyurethane systems that re-waterproof ageing felt, asphalt and single-ply roofs, with guarantee terms set by the selected system.
Rooflight Coatings
High-performance coating systems for rooflights and translucent panels, restoring clarity, UV resistance and weatherproofing, extending service life without full replacement.
Technical note
Coating is not suitable for every roof. Where corrosion, structural condition, trapped moisture or failed interfaces cannot be resolved through preparation and local repair, over-cladding or replacement may be the better long-term option.
